Katie played basketball for the first time this past season. She loved it! She loved it so much that she chose to play for another season in place of playing softball this Spring! She wasn't afraid to hustle, and we enjoyed watching her play!
Upwards is a Christian based organization, so praying & scripture memorization is a part of it.
After each game, they were awarded stars based upon their performance (defense award, Christ likeness award, offense award, etc.)
Ellie was thrilled when Colton & his family came to watch Katie in a game!
During the last game, the parents "got" to play!
Katie got the "quiet strength" award for the year!
It was a fun season, and we look forward to the next one!
