day at the park
There's so much going on (the packers come Thursday!) and I felt bad yesterday that the girls didn't really do much that was fun. Going with me to the doctor at 8:15 in the morning and waiting through my glucose test & regular visit & other test wasn't exactly at the top of their list of things to do! So...I told Gracie that we'd do something fun today. We ended up getting
take-out from 3 different places (McDonald's, Subway, & Honey Baked Ham) and going to the little park next to our library then going into the library. Here are some shots from the day-including a couple of the beautiful azaleas Aiken has to offer. I don't think we'll be seeing too many of those in Houston-although I am looking forward to seeing bluebonnets again!

You'll be surprised! Our house in Kingwood had huge, beautiful azaleas. Good luck with everything! Praying for you.
Houston had lots of azaleas, but they were out a couple of weeks ago and are now gone...you'll have to enjoy the Azalea Trail next spring!

Ok, I'm getting all caught up on your blog . . .I have been out of the loop lately, so had no idea about the move! We are in similar "seasons of life", I suppose, but I'm not relocating my whole family . . .just about 30 minutes down the road or so! Welcome (back) to Texas, and I pray your transition, finding housing, finding schools, etc. will all be easier than you could have ever imagined!
Praying all goes smoothly next week . . . We can't wait to see you guys!! BKB3
What BEAUTIFUL flowers! Those are great pictures, looks like a really fun day! Good luck with the move! How nice to have packers! We had that when we moved to Lubbock, Alamosa (Sprint) actually did it all for us. Makes it a lot easier, I would suppose especially with kids! We didn't have ours at the time. Sure wish we were moving too!
Our neighborhood in Baytown was full of azaleas! We have them in AR, too, just not as big.
I cannot believe that it is time for movers to come already! I am sure that you cannot either. They were such a blessing when we moved two years ago since I had a 4 year old and a 6 month old:) We are praying for your family and the upcoming adventure. Glad to have you back in Texas:)
