See You at the Pole

September 21st is the day for "See You at the Pole," the day when across the nation students will gather at the school's flagpole to pray before school. I've heard of this in the past and have been online trying to find more information about it.

Does anyone know if elementary schools have ever participated? If so, let me know what you know, please. Thanks!

I don't know anything about the pole, but I wanted to tell you Thank You for the offer of shelter! I have no idea how this thing is going to go....one minute it's coming straight in on us and the next up in NC. That's ok...if it's coming this way...keep looking down the street for the overloaded blue mini-van. That'll be me and my brood!!! Thanks again...you're the best, girl!

I think a lot of elementary schoolers participate--check with her teacher. All of the kids meet EARLY in the morning for a group prayer/devotional. Usually one teacher "sponsors" it (though is not allowed to participate).

Our elementary schools all participate (at least they did when I was teaching a few years ago). I would call the school like others suggested or go online to the distict website to check there too.
