Disney-Day 6!

Day 6

Magic Kingdom

Today was our last day. Since Magic Kingdom was our absolute favorite, I wanted to end our time there. We needed to leave at some point this day, but we just couldn't leave without a little more fun!

Priority #1 was for Chris & Katie to ride "Space Mountain." They headed off together to do that while Gracie, Ellie, & I went off to amuse ourselves with calmer rides.

I was happy to see the beautiful Main Street again.

While Chris & Katie rode "Space Mountain" twice & rode "Tomorrowland Speedway," we rode "It's A Small World," "Snow White's Scary Adventures," "Peter Pan's Flight," and watched "PhilharMagic." We spotted Mary Poppins a couple of times, too.

We spotted Peter Pan & Wendy, too!
We walked over to Tomorrowland to meet Chris & Katie. On the way towards eating lunch, I was happy to see they were having a parade. I think it was called a 'Block Party' or something like that. It was great! The music was fun, the characters were great, the energy was magical!

A last picture of the girls in front of Cinderella's castle....for THIS trip!
Our family!

I had walked into the "Main Street Bakery" earlier in the week and decided it looked like a good place to eat, so we stopped here for lunch before leaving the park. It was cute and yummy! A great choice for our 'last Disney meal' for this trip. Simple, yet charming!

We were planning to get ice cream afterwards until the lady brought out the HUGE cinnamon rolls. We couldn't resist!

I forgot what I was teasing Gracie about, but it was obviously something embarrassing! LOL

We walked down Main Street, longingly wishing we could stay longer but knowing (Chris & I anyway) that it was time to get back to 'reality.' I wish we'd had a chance to ride this horse drawn trolley with the barbershop quartet singing inside. As I took a picture, one of the singers kinda waved at me. Just so magical, that place! Like you're in another time.

Gracie & Katie posing with Walt & Minnie.

Katie was quite unhappy about leaving!

Caught a glimpse of Pinocchio
Here are some pictures of our resort. Like I mentioned earlier, we would like to stay somewhere nicer next time (I've heard others who have stayed there mention similar things) but it was really okay for us.
See ya later, Magic Kingdom! Until we meet again......and we will, Lord willing!
Just imagine if a place on this Earth could be so magical, beautiful, & wonderful.....how amazing is Heaven going to be for those of us who accept Christ as our Savior! Nothing on this Earth can even come close to comparing to the glory & beauty we will see in Heaven. Christ died for US. for ME. All we have to do is believe He is the son of God & confess it, turn away from our sin, and be baptized for the forgiveness of our sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and live our lives for Christ. If I'm going to share my love of Disney with my friends, how can I neglect to share my love of Christ as well?!
I am thankful to God for the wonderful memories our family created on this magical vacation!
