a room for Katie

This week, I decided to paint Katie's room! Once I really decide to do something like this, it's like I HAVE to do it...so I did! 98% by myself, too...including moving the furniture. Chris cleaned up (b/c by that time I was DONE) and did some touch up (on the ceiling mainly..oops!) There is still some touch up to be done.

I loved the green Katie had in Aiken, so I was kind of going for that same look. I kinda missed it. This is much darker. or brighter. or something. BUT...I LOVE it! It's perfect for a vibrant child like our Katie!

We had to have Toy Story represented!

Below are pictures of Katie's first "big girl" room in Aiken. I loved it! I love the new green too though! I loved the real hardwood floors she had in Aiken but now love that she has a soft place to play in her room. Her room in Aiken was TINY, so I love that she now has a larger room. I've loved both of her rooms for different reasons.
